How It All Started
Having been evacuated during the Second World War, our founder, Mr Pinnegar and his family came to the village of Bugbrooke where he and his son-in-law first began manufacturing concrete blocks. Since then Pinnegar and Barnes, now known as P & B Paving Supplies, has gone from manufacturing sheds, fencing, and concrete blocks to manufacturing paving slabs.

Over the years the manufacturing of paving slabs has changed. Years ago smooth paving slabs were very fashionable and only came in three sizes – 2x2, 2x1, and 1x1. Some of our latest patterns, such as Barnestone York and Scarborough Mill now come in 10 to 16 sizes. There are also slabs made in the style of wooden decking, log sleepers, and log stepping stones. Since we’re experts in landscape gardening, you’re bound to find high-quality products at competitive prices.
